Marqués de Cáceres Rioja 2008

External Review by eVintner Wines and Spirits:

This wine has an attractive, bright ruby red color. With a refined bouquet of black cherries and blackberries with a soft touch of aromatic Mediterranean herbs, this rioja is lusciously fresh and fruity in the mouth where rich fruits of cherries, strawberries, raspberries, and notes of cinnamon mingle to give a pleasant fullness with a backbone of silky-smooth tannins. With a long-lasting, unctuous finish, the rioja is a splendid vintage that is velvety soft and elegant. 85% Tempranillo, and 15% Garnacha Tinta and Graciano.

The name of this wine. Marques de Caceres was lent by D. Vicente Noguera y Espinosa de los Monteros. Today, he has been succeeded by his son D.
