Vintage: 2009 01/20/2015

This opens with rich, slightly soupy aromas that announce ripeness. The palate is full yet crimped by firm tannins, while flavors of creamy vanilla, lactic oak, tomato and plum are forward and finish strong. As a young reserva from a warm vintage should, this improves with airing. Drink from 2014–2018.

Vintage: 2009 01/13/2015

The dark plum/ruby-colored 2009 Reserva reveals slightly more depth and richness along with sweet red and black currant, herb, licorice and toast notes in the nose. Already drinking well, this fully mature 2009 is best consumed over the next 2–3 years.

This generous red delivers ripe plum and currant fruit, with notes of toast, licorice and loam. Firm tannins impart structure, while the juicy acidity keeps this lively. Drink now through 2018.
