Marmo Maria Vandalo IGT Puglia 2005

External Review by Sam's Wine:

Vandalo (Italian word for vandal) is the perfect name for this wine, because this wine destroys the image of Apulian wines as simple, easy-going wines. Breathtaking concentration and a range of exotic scents and flavors will have you reeling. Currants, dried fruit, roasted meat, mineral and root spice aromas on a thick, rich texture. Not for the faint of heart.
