Winemakers Notes

This is a ripe, fruity, golden-hued Australian Chardonnay with fresh flavours of pineapple and yellow plum and a soft, buttery richness.

Serve this wine lightly chilled. The generous, well-rounded style goes well with roast chicken or turkey, fresh salmon or seafood in a creamy sauce.

What to Expect

Chardonnay is America's most popular grape and with good reason. Made in styles that range from steely, mineral laced wines with crisp green apple fruit to wines that are buttery, rich, and laden with tropical fruits, there is a Chardonnay that will appeal to every palate. Chardonnay is most closely associated with France's Burgundy region and California's Northern valleys though it has proven successful around the globe.

Generously flavoured - all guava and pears with a nice dash of apple and crisp, stone fruits. A small part has seen some oak for 'a subtle dab of extra richness'. Full, firm but balanced with good acidity.
