Markham Sauvignon Blanc Napa Valley 2005

Winemaker's Notes:

This wine feels like a vacation! Let the tropical floral and fruit aromas take you away. The honeysuckle, white peach and citrus zest in the nose are mimicked in the mouth with crisp flavors that refresh. The rich, viscous mouth feel should make this Sauvignon Blanc great to pair with your favorite meal or lounging poolside

Bought it out of a "half-price" bin for $8.50. in Minneapolis area There were ~ 2 cases of it. Despite a non-cork cork, this wine was GONE, partially oxidized, with none of the flavors described above. Very disappointing. This was a YGWYPF example. Perhaps it'd been stored badly and that's why the local distributor dumped it. But I'm taking it BACK.

Amazing for the price! Nice legs. Mid nose with a lingering mellow after taste. Slightly earthy and totally enjoyable! Great bargain for the price, IF you can find it.
