Markham Sauvignon Blanc 2011

Winemaker's Notes:

"Ripe tangerine and peach flavors are rich on the palate but still allow a bright citrus zest acidity to shine through and through. Always a favorite with grilled shrimp or pad Thai!" -Winery

This is quite aromatic and green on the nose with notes of roasted green chilies, kiwi fruit and a green vegetal base note. Juicy if simple on entry, this offers up a nice core of sweet citrus fruits and apricot nectar notes in an easy to drink style. Taking on a slight tropical cast to the fruit on the backend, this finishes quickly with soft acids. 84pts

This wine feels like a vacation! Let the tropical floral and fruit aromas take you away. The honeysuckle, white peach and citrus zest in the nose are mimicked in the mouth with crisp flavors that refresh. The rich, viscous mouth feel should make this Sauvignon Blanc great to pair with your favorite meal or lounging poolside.
