Smoky and earthy on the nose with burnished cherry fruit over lightly floral herbs, black tea and a base note of green anise seed. Very balanced and open knit on entry, this delivers a nice wash of earthy, lightly autumnal cranberry and strawberry fruit to the palate. The tannins arrive late and are generally soft. The acidity is well integrated if a touch low. The fruit on the palate has a sweet tinge to it, but this turns a bit drying on the modest, rhubarb-laced finish. A nice package that doesn't really scream out but offers an appealing, middle-of-the-road Pinot experience. 84pt

This Pinot Noir is heavily perfumed with strong floral and maybe a hint of berries. I really liked this wine. It has a nice juicy, ripe, jammy with berry fruits and some cherries It ends .tart, medium acidity and mild tannins. This is a non-traditional pinot noir but I liked it.

As a novice to the world of wines, I'm partial to the smoother and more fruit-forward pinots noirs. It's the harshness and tannis that I find undesirable. Nice color, but not something that interest me.

Very nice, light vanilla raspberry nose--the oak definitely comes out more than the fruit. Medium bodied, strawberry, raspberry with subtle notes of oak in the mouth. Silky, well rounded finish. I drank a 2010 Mirassou Pinor Noir and this has more body and more oak and slightly hotter finish.

tight bouquet, thin-ish body, pleasant taste, not overly fruity, low tannins. need to try again.

A good pinot noir at its price point. Better than many California pinot's twice the price. Bright cherry, raspberry and strawberry dominate. Some preserves and vanilla as well

A little too alcoholic in the finish imo.. I don't like the burn in the finish.. However lay it down for a couple of years and it may mature and resolve that issue.. It has a good full bodied varietal flavor but lacks complexity which may again come with laying down for a couple of years.. Unfortunately I have not tasted a pinot noir under $20 that is worth drinking to date.. You want a good pinot you have to pay for it.

Crushed red berries, smoky oak, licorice and floral notes dominate the heady bouquet. The wine is full-bodied and quite rich on the palate with black cherry fruit, and subtle vanilla-flavored oak well balanced by soft supple tannins that finish soft and sweet.

Enticing aromas of cherry-raspberry pie and cola berry intertwine with barrel notes of candied vanilla and spice. Oak aging rounds out the palate and gives the wine its body. Deep rich berry compote flavors. Pinot from beginning to silky finish.

Enticing aromas of strawberry/rhubarb pie, raspberry preserves, and cranberry, with barrel notes of vanilla cream and baking spices. The sweet entry of strawberry and plum fruit flavors is followed by a juicy, boysenberry middle and cherry, cola berry finish. Oak aging contributes a touch of cardamom spice and rounds out the palate. Easy drinking Pinot perfect for any dining occasion or simply enjoy by the glass. - Winery
