This is the taste of the Italian riviera, fabulous!
Balanced and well-integrated. Cherry and dark berry fruit with slightly nutty bitter finish. Acid medium, body medium, tannin medium. Dry to off-dry. Wish I had enjoyed this on the Amalfi coast, rather than at a massive Italian tasting.
Good value dark red wine that appears more full bodied than the 13.5% alchohol it contains. Lots of fruit and it drinks quite easily.
