Blackberry and dried cherry aromas spiked with notes of pepper and spice. Mouth-filling of hearty ripe plums, a hint of grilled toasty oak and just enough acidity in the finish to provide a refreshing lift that balances all of the jammy ripe fruit on the palate.

Winemaker's Notes:

"Lot 59 is the latest release of Old V ine Red, our trademark blend that was first released 34 years ago in the early days of Marietta. Lot 59 carries on the tradition of consistency and quality with loads of ripe berries on the nose followed by a briery note reminiscent of blackberry leaf. The color is deep rub y , and the mouthfeel is full, rich and supple. The wine gives way to palate coating tannins that provide a textured, soft finish. " -Winery
