Owner and winemaker Chris Bilbro initially founded Marietta Cellars in 1978 in a rented cow barn in the Dry Creek Valley. The wines of Marietta Cellars are a personification of Chris Bilbro, his outlook on life, and general lifestyle. Blackberry and dried cherry aromas spiked with notes of pepper and spice. Mouth-filling of hearty ripe plums, a hint of grilled toasty oak and just enough acidity in the finish to provide a refreshing lift that balances all of the jammy ripe fruit on the palate.

Full-bodied and dense with silky tannin as well as a lush texture, this is the quintessential bistro, brasserie, or trattoria red to drink with gusto, exuberance, and joy.
