Margerum Syrah Santa Barbara County Uber 2008

External Review by JJ Buckley Fine Wines:

Opaque ruby. Powerful aromas of dark berry preserves, cola and violet, with an element of oak spice building with aeration. Bright, sweet and expansive, offering intense blackberry and bitter cherry flavors lifted by floral pastille and black peppe... Stephen Tanzers IWC. A Syrah wine from California in USA. 2008 Margerum Wine Co Syrah UBER 750ml

Margerum Wine Company:
We are a small producer of Syrah, a Rhone style blend called M5, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, and a few other varietals. Our grapes are purchased from the finest growers in Santa Barbara County. In addition, we are beginning to import a few exceptional wines we have found in our travels to the wine regions of Italy and France.

Firm, rich and layered, with a smoky, peppery scent to vivid dried berry and cedar, fresh earth and melted licorice flavors. Tightens on the finish. Best from 2012 through 2020. 150 cases made. -JL Wine Spectator. A Syrah wine from California in USA. 2008 Margerum Wine Co Syrah UBER 750ml
