The aromas are violet, creamy white peach, flint and a pure expression of grape. The flavors are beautifully focused with crisp stone fruit flavors that continue to soften on the palate.

Margerum certainly qualifies as a Vinfolio classic; it is already our clear leader in client preference among our Sauvignon Blanc producers. The soils in Purisima Mountain Vineyard are rich in limestone that creates a leanness in Sauvignon Blanc that when done right is unforgettable. That is squarely what Margerum achieved here in 2005. The aromas are violet, creamy white peach, flint and a pure expression of grape. The flavors are beautifully focused with crisp stone fruit flavors that continue to soften on the palate. Perfect for saluting the eminent Spring!
