Marco Felluga Friulano Collio DOC Marco Felluga-Italien-Friaul-Gradisca d'Isonzo 2008

Winemaker's Notes:

The winery Marco Felluga was founded by Marco with his own name in the Fifties in Gradisca d’Isonzo, which in the fourteenth century was a fortified citadel of the Venetian Republic La Serenissima. Its city walls were designed by Leonardo da Vinci, a gateway to the Collio. Marco Felluga vineyards extend over 100 hectares (some family owned, some family operated) with a larger production of white wines, obtained from both autochthonous and international grapes. This local grape (Friulano) gives a distinct almond blossom aroma with floral notes of hawthorn and camomile. In the mouth it is well-structured, silky and generous.
