Food Pairings for Marchesi di Gresy Langhe Bianco Sauvignon Blanc Piemonte
Marchesi di Gresy is an 88 acre winery made up of four estates situated in the Langhe and Monferrto. In the late 1960's, owner Alberto di Gresy decided that he no longer wanted to continue selling his families grapes to other producers, so in 1973, he began producing his own wine. The Langhe Bianco is a dry white wine with a pale straw-like colour. This is a pretty and elegant wine with notes of honeyed fruits, tomato, grapefruit and acacia. A full and persistent palate is followed by a crisp finish that nicely balances the wine's depth of fruit, making this a perfect wine to serve as an aperitif.
