Marchesi De' Frescobaldi Pomino Rosso DOC 2006

Winemaker's Notes:

The color is a crimson red with purple nuances. The bouquet releases delicate fragrances of forest berries such as blueberries and currants which mingle with spicier nuances of cloves. The senses are awakened with aromas of fresh herbs. The entry on the palate is inviting and of excellent consistency. The nish is incredibly pleasing with a slight tartness.

Wine Spectator ReviewRated 88Beautiful aromas of strawberry, fresh flowers and sandalwood. Medium-bodied, with fine tannins and a fresh finish. Not the most powerful wine, but balanced and pretty. Pinot Noir, Sangiovese and a dash of Merlot. Best after 2008.Wine Tasting NotesThe color is a crimson red with purple nuances.
