Notes of small red-berry fruits like mulberry and currant insinuate themselves on the nose, while the ripe plum is perfectly in tune with fragrant violet and geranium. The palate is smooth, warm and elegantly balanced.

Winemaker Notes - The rich, elegant Tenuta Frescobaldi di Castiglioni, this estate s iconic wine, is clearly in a modern key, but holds fast to the qualities of its local terroir. Ideal with game such as hare and boar, with roasted or saut ed beef, roast of pork, as well as with full-flavoured cheeses.
