What to Expect

Nebbiolo is a fickle grape famed as much for its pale appearance as for its tannic character and produces some of the most perfumed and richly flavored wines. Though generally only medium-bodied, the wines possess rose and anise scented aromatics and deep flavors of cherry, orange peel and subtle green herb tones.

Rich on the nose with spicy middle eastern tones and roasted black fruit. this opens on the palate with a lot of round, deep fruit with a big black cherry notes and hints of wood spice that gain intensity on the finish. Not particularly complex but rich with vivid fruit and well integrated for current drinking. 90pts

Eucalyptus and iodine on the nose, with a little candied ginger, which was unexpected. Classic barolo (cherry, lilacs etc), although with a licorice finish
