Food Pairings for Marcarini Nebbiolo Langhe Lasarin
Almost a burnt amber color with some light passing through. Woody, olivy nose. Not terribly full-bodied or, even, full-flavored. Medium bodied, light for a red, but, maybe right where I see a lot of Chiantis. OK, I know this is not Chianti and is not even made from Chianti grapes (Sangiovese). It's a pleasant wine with some cherry/berry flavors. Nice light acid. I am thinking that this might be a good match for a red wine to go with a fish entree. US$15.99 at Wine Club in Santa Ana.
