What to Expect

Nebbiolo is a fickle grape famed as much for its pale appearance as for its tannic character and produces some of the most perfumed and richly flavored wines. Though generally only medium-bodied, the wines possess rose and anise scented aromatics and deep flavors of cherry, orange peel and subtle green herb tones.

Editorial Reviews

stinky and lastic with a blackberry yogurt nose which improved with time but wasn't given enough time to fully evolve.Round and lush in th mouth with good acidity but a monotone wine that tends to rely on the vibrant mineral note in the mouth mouth for interest as opposed to any overt fruitiness, the finish echoes the midpalate and turns noticably greener with some unripeness exhibited by both the acidity and tannins. A success for the vintage and a good wine with some cellaring potential.
