Marani Mtsvane Dry White 2009

Member Review by zufrieden:

Another delightful expedition to the cradle of wine-making - the beautiful Caucasus nation of Georgia (Kvartselo). Here we have the native Mtsvane grape doing duty as a highly quaffable dry table wine and we'd like to see more of this quality at the price point. The chamomile tea nose is reminiscent of Rousanne as is the effect on the palate which is most pleasing with a hint of vinous fruitiness. This is a very fine wine for the price and worth a try for you world travelers in wine. Seek it out.
