Mapema Tempranillo 2005

Winemaker's Notes:

Wine Tasting Notes Intense fruit character, with deep color and flavors of ripe black cherries and black raspberries. The wine finishes with captivating hints of cardamom and allspice. 12 months of aging in new French and American oak barrels adds an elegant smoky flavor. This is a distinctly Argentine Tempranilloserious wine, but with a fun, easy-going edge to it. It will pair well with a wide variety of chicken, pork and lighter beef dishes.

This wine's nose is filled with black cherries and currant with a slight hint of green olive that comes out more in the taste; it's smooth and medium bodied. Great wine.

Great with meat; spicy and cherry. Solid finish. Very good value!
