Manzone le Gramolere Barolo Bricat 2001

External Review by Prestige Wine & Spirits:

The medium ruby 2001 Barolo Bricat Le Gramolere presents a deep nose of spices, flowers, herbs, toasted oak and vanilla. It is dense and long on the palate, with plenty of dark fruit, mineral, toasted oak and menthol flavors emerging from the glass, although the tannins remain a bit rough, and an element of greenness mars the finish. Anticipated maturity: 2009andndash;2019.

Lots of ripe fruit on the nose with hints of flowers, following through to a full-bodied palate with silky tannins and a long, juicy finish. Tight. Serious. Best after 2008.
