This is a delicious lip-smacking wine from southeast Italy -- the heel of the boot, if you will. Focused cherry and blackberry fruit are round and ripe, on a medium-bodied frame, with a smooth mouthfeel and finish. A heck of a deal. Ready to drink now.

This fruit-packed, food-friendly red called A Mano (hand-made), entirely hand-crafted from indigenous Primitivo grapes (the original source of Zinfandel, by the way...), expresses the region's quality potential, and the reasons for Mark's Apulian connection. What you get can only be characterful duo of Primitivo Puglia IGT reds with fruit you can chew on, supple body, fresh acidity: just the kind of wine the consumer wants to drink, and drink again.

Elegant ripe perfumed intensity of deep ripe berry fruits with some cherries. Good ripe fruit with sweetness and lovely soft tannins. Easy drinking.
