Ripe, deep nose offers cherry liqueur, coffee and dark chocolate. Rich, weighty and thick, with impressive power to the cherry and blackberry flavors. The sweetness carries through the broad, long finish, which is deepened by roasted coffee and bitter chocolate. Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar 89 Points

Inky purple in color with an interesting fresh nose. I little discombobulated in the flavor however. Fruit, spice and oak on the palate. A good effort for the price but I wasn't crazy about it. Agent Blush found it easy to drink being light, casual and refreshing and recommends it as a good bottle to crack for a summer BBQ.
