Winemakers Notes

Our 2003 Mankas Cabernet Sauvignon offers a unique perspective of the Mankas Hills. The majority of the grapes making up this blend came from the lots harvested in late September. Mankas is delicate in body and its big fruit profile lends itself to food without overpowering your meal. It is a great wine to enjoy with fish, pasta, or mild cheese and is a pleasant addition to any picnic or barbecue. This wine helps bring out the pleasure in everyday life.

What to Expect

Cabenet Sauvignon: Originally of French origins, this versatile grape produces exceptional wines around the globe. It's usually medium to full bodied with a fine structure that supports black and red fruit flavors with typical notes of olive, chili and herbs that add complexity.
