Subtle on the nose with sweet toasty nuances and spicy fennel pollen notes. This is soft, rich and silky in the mouth, offering up lots of early Asian pear and yellow almost kiwi fruit flavors than gain a pretty rusty, mineral note on the long finish. There’s an uncommon bit of grip on the finish along with lingering acidity and pure baked apple fruit. 89pts
