Malvasia Passito Il Piriolo 2009

This "natural" wine from Lusenti is made with the traditional passito method of drying grapes before pressing. Brought it home from the RAW natural wine fair in London. A nice, balanced sweet wine at 9% alcohol and high sugar level. Clean flavors of yellow jumbo raisins, ripe yellow apples, caramel. Serve with apple pie or blue cheese.
