Malleolus Bodegas Emilio Moro Valladolid 2006
[93 pts Wine Advocate]: Purple-colored with splendid aromatics featuring toast smoke vanilla mineral and blackberry. Full-bodied it offers a supple texture layers of spicy fruit and superb integration of aok tannin and acidity. Already complex this wine should continue to evolve for several years and drink well through the next two decades.
Elegant, balanced, smooth, delicious, and well-integrated tempranillo wine with inviting nose of caramel, flowers, dark fruit, hints of vanilla, pepper and light spice. Silky in the mouth, with ripe rich not sweet fruit, light spice, floral notes, and a consistent acid bite. Finishes of fruit and fading acid. Medium plus body, medium plus acid, dry to off-dry.
Cherry wood with a little vanilla, oak on the nose, varying berries, a velevety milk cocoa, a berry milkiness with nice acidity, great finish. yum! my group at dinner loved it too .
