Malibu Rocky Oaks Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2009

Member Review by VegasOenophile:

Pure ripe berry fruit on the nose. Currant. Simple and not super complex. Tart cherry. On the palate, it has good acid and is bright and fresh. The lack of "size and jaminess" is appreciated in this wine. It's subtle and not multi-faceted, but nice and drinkable. 6/16/12

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.
