Today, Roger Zuger's son, Jean-Luc, supervises all the work In the vineyards and the making of our wine with its illustrious history, find yet it hasn't always been plain sailing for this fine estate, which as long ago as 1608 was producing some 30 to 40 casks on our "Curton", "Puch Sam Peyre", "Ourmatan" and "Lacoste" plots. Dense purple/red in the glass. Aromas of dark chocolate, menthol, black cherry, cassis, violets. Palate filled with anise, densely concentrated fruit of currant, cherry, licorice and almost a bubblegum note. Need time, but is nice. 4/14/12
