Patrice Rion, who says that his state-of-the-art winery is now running smoothly, reports that yields were about the same as in 2001, which is to say 35 to 38 hl/ha but with better sugars, which averaged between 13 and 13.5%. We chaptalized nothing, he reports, saying that pHs were around 3.5 after the long, very slow malos were completed.
