Wow, what an incredible nose of soaring spice-infused aromas, including notes of hoisin, clove, cinnamon and soy plus earth, leather and smoke that introduce sappy, sweet and beautifully complex full-bodied and still vibrant and moderately structured flavors that offer both serious power and length. This is an elegant and refined wine that still has plenty of muscle and shows off the underlying strength of the '45 vintage.
