Food Pairings for Maison Louis Jadot Beaujolais Villages
This is a good wine for those of you who are looking for something mellow and smooth for a dinner party. Now more of your wine "snobs" will expect more but for the price you really can't go wrong. I enjoy this with various cheese, crackers, and apples. Of course it will hold up to a full dinner, but it is nice as a first bottle / appetizer wine.
A nice light red made from the Gamay grape. Smooth with fine tannins; nice fruity flavors with good subdued second and third-tier flavors. Easy and pleasant finish, if somewhat short, but then, it is a light wine.
I'm torn about this wine. It was very easy to drink, and perfectly tasty, but there was certainly nothing about it that made me want to buy it again, except for perhaps safety. However, I think that safety comes with the eponymous Jadot label rather than the wine itself. I must say, though, it stood up well to barbecue.
Soft tannins, easy drinking, not overly fruity, non complicated, purple red color
Fruity initially then smooth on the back end. Slightly dry. A good wine for under $10.
nice start, some dried fruits, table wine
Wonderful hints of citrus aromas like kumquat. Light bodied with delicate flowery stone fruit flavors, light peppery finish - quite amusing. A very drinkable wine.

Wine Tasting NotesBright, crushed red fruit color, flavors and aromas supported by a fresh acidity and gentle tannins characterize this charming, modestly scaled wine which shows peppery notes on the clean, refreshing finish.
