(Chassagne vines). Gorgeously detailed fruit is complement by intense citrus all framed by pain grillé and mineral notes followed by lively, heavy weight flavors of impressive distinction and exciting duration. Despite the forwardness of the nose, there is plenty of underlying material plus ripe acidity all in a tightly wrapped package. Classy, long and pure and this does perhaps the best job of buffering and integrating the full-on oak treatment.
