Maison Bleue Mouvedre Rose la Famille 2011

Member Review by liberlibri:

Being a huge fan of Bandol and Provence when it come to roses, this may be the best domestic rose I've had. 90% mourvedre and 10% grenache, it needs a little time to warm up if it's right out of the fridge, but once it does, it's a wondrously focused medium-bodied wine with notes of orange peel, stone fruits, and strawberry supporting a pure, mineral core. Wonderfully balanced fruit, mineral, and acid. Still excellent the second day, but fading significantly by the third. Bought two bottles, but I'll be going back for more.
