Winemakers Notes
The nose reveals dried plum and dark fruits, exotic spices, with hints of violet and chocolate. Round and fleshy, with enticing crushed plum and boysenberry fruit enlivened by a liquorice snap note. Fresh acidity lies buried on the medium-weight, juicy finish.

Reviews for 2011 Vintage
Produced in the LujAn de Cuyo in Mendoza by the Pelizzatti family, specifically Liliana Iannizzotto. Intense pink color( from 35 year old vines and hand harvested) with violet hints. Fresh red fruit bouquet, strawberry and cherry flavors, balanced acidity, dry and lingering finish. Excellent with tuna or green salad, pasta, spicy Asian dishes. AMAZING Rose from Argentina.
Blueberry, dark fruit, earth, spice, soft tannins, creamy mouthfeel. Great value.
Shared this with Bob & Joyce. It had a long dry finish that allowed it to be sipped all evening as we discussed recent and upcoming events.
This has a soft nose. The flavor profile is very fruity with blackberry and plum as prominent notes. There is also smoke, black pepper and a bitter cocoa finish.
I liked this wine a lot. Smelled of dark fruit on the nose. Fruit forward, supple mouth feel. this is a real bargain
A simple, fruity rose that is one of our favorites for summer drinking.
The Maipe Malbec displays explosive red and black fruit flavors; the palate is generous and long.
My three favorite Maipe red wines include the 2009 Malbec Reserve, the wineryrsquo;s top selection that is aged in wood for 12 months. A dense blue/purple color is followed by a big, sweet, floral (acacias), blueberry, blackberry, coffee, and white chocolate-scented bouquet. Remarkably rich and heady, with a full-bodied mouthfeel as well as silky tannins, it should be consumed over the next 2ndash;3 years.
