Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.

The 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from 35-year-old vines is a saturated purple color. The nose offers up pure black currants and blackberry with some earth notes in the background. The wine is slightly austere on the palate but is likely to round out with another year or two in the bottle (not that anyone is likely to cellar this tasty effort). It is a lot of wine for the money.

These high altitude Cabernet vineyards, literally at the foot the Andes Mountains, make a wine with ripe blueberry, black currant, and dark chocolate flavors and hints of tobacco and smoke. Itrsquo;s hard to find a great Cab, let alone a wine under $10, that is as smooth and generous as this one.

Argentinian reds are produced to be consumed young while still vibrant; Maipe has produced a Cabernet Sauvignon that captures the essence of bright fruit and spice and characterizes this delicious style. Bright fruit, vanilla, and black cherry round out this exceptionally earthy effort.

Earth and fruit meld together in this luscious Argentine Cabernet. Aromas of cassis, wild mushroom and chocolate abound, and the firm tannic structure simply begs to be served with a thick juicy steak. The pride of Mendoza mdash; you will be hard pressed to find a better Cabernet at this price!
