Food Pairings for Madrigal Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley
This is one of the best Cabernets I've tasted. It's all Napa in the nose, with a plethora of scents alternating between blackberry, black cherry, and chocolate. Cherry and cocoa with hints of earth and spice in the palate. It almost tastes like a Chateau Montelena, but is a little more forgiving with respect to its tannin levels. Nevertheless, it still gets that earthiness, the licorice, the leather, a little blueberry, black cherry, and layers upon layers of flavor. Really phenomenal.
The nose opens with an expressive fusion of aromas, highlighted by sweet blackberry and cherry mixed with earthy spice. On the palate, our trademark up-front fruit turns supple and elegant with juicy cherry and creme de cassis. Waves of dark chocolate, mocha and a whisper of mint complete the tasting experience.
