Winemakers Notes
Although the exact origins have been lost in the mists of time, Sangria can be traced back centuries and it's roots are most commonly tied to the early planting of the Iberian peninsula vineyards in Spain. While sangria recipes varied, most traditional sangria was a blend of red wine, local citrus fruits such as orange and lemon, brandy and honey. Derived from the Spanish word "sangre", it's named for the vibrant red hues of the sangria drink, symbolizing life and vitality.

Tasting Notes
Madria Sangria was inspired by the vibrant spirit of Madrid, the capital of Spain, where sangria remains one of the most popular drinks today. Made in the traditional Spanish style, ruby-red wine is blended with the all natural, fresh citrus flavors of orange lemon, and lime. Very rich in fruit flavors.

Does anyone knows where is this Madria Sangria from?
This is the best bottled Sangria I have ever tasted. I was skeptical when I bought it, but fell in love from the first sip I took. Some Sangria is too strong and many taste exactly the same. This one stands out from the rest for me and I highly recommend it to those who enjoy Sangria.
I bought a bottle of this Sangria for the first time for my friends birthday because she had never tryed Sangria before. Had never tryed this brand before and let me tell you it's the best Sangria I have ever tasted. The price is right and well it's the best I have ever had. Not sure what your doing but don't change what your doing. Have already recommended it to several other friends.
back around 1969 my friends and i drank a cheap wine called RIPPLE for a buzz. Well its no longer made but i'll tell you this is as close to Ripple as any "hippie" wine i've had . It's fun , taste good and sure reminds me of good friends , smoking some hash and Jimi Hendrix on the radio . YUM ! please keep this post ( it's for real ) $ 4.49 sweetbay
Tonight I tried Madria Sangria for the first time and it's delicious! I really enjoy the rich taste and citrus flavor. The price is excellent and you definitely get more taste for your money. I would recommend this wine to anyone who enjoys a nice, mellow, sweet red wine.
I bought a bottle of this last month and was very pleasantly surprised. Went to a Henry's store this weekend and they have it in a large format bottle with a rebate of $1.50. What a buy. Added some apples, nectarines, orange slices and other fresh fruit and it makes it more authentic. It even tasted better the next day!!! It is almost as good as sangria at the tapas place we go to in our town. Will continue to buy it, and would even serve it at a party.
This sangria is decent, but not my favorite. It can have a bit of bite.
I never really liked red wine, but this is sweet and delicious..I would recommend this to everyone :)
Just tried a sample-mini bottle. Sweet, fruity, kind of spicy! AND the price was right. $1.00 Surprisingly delicious!
