User Reviews for Madeira Bual Blandys 94 Nm

Winemaker's Notes:

"The 2006 bottling again and slightly better than in June. It displays similar aromas on the nose with less of the chlorine element: dried honey, molasses, quince and walnut all intermingling. The palate is well-balanced with very fine acidity, delicate and feminine with notes of orange peel, quince, a hint of ginger but very focus towards the long, almost sensual finish. This is one of the best bottles I have encountered...94" Neal Martin 9/11 "This is 2006 bottling of Blandy’s 1920 Bual. It has a deep amber colour and a generous bouquet with marmalade, quince and walnut with just a tincture of chlorine. Great tension and poise on the palate, very pure with Seville orange marmalade, dried honey and citrus peel. There is very good volume in the mouth, good poise and intensity on the finish laced with orange peel and Manuka honey on the aftertaste. It is a very fine Bual that is drinking beautifully now.
