Very soft cabernet. Almost looked like a dark rose' in the glass. Very fruity aroma reminscint of a white zin. But a little dryer on the tongue. Would have like more oak and tannins. Definately a beginner wine for new red wine drinkers!
Bright cherry fruit dominates the aromas and flavors with this inexpensive Cabernet. With a $7 price tag, and with "mommy's time out" marketing, you wouldn't expect a lot of complexity or intensity, and you would be right. A bit on the sweet, cloying side, but would be OK for a BBQ (assuming your friends aren't big red wine drinkers!)
This is a fun wine, and the bottle is as hilarious as it's title. The taste is good for a cheap wine. It's a typical low-end Cabernet. I enjoy giving it as a gift, or picking it up in a hurry. As I know it's at least a decent bottle. It's pretty much red table wine.
