Macphail Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast 2009

Member Review by VegasOenophile:

By spring, this should be fully ready for market consumption. Very fresh, powerful red berry aromas and flavors. At this time, it's highly acidic and tart, but that should integrate with more time in bottle. Should show terrific balance upon release. - Tasted at winery 12/29/10

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.
