MacMurray Ranch Russian River Pinot Noir(2004)

Cherished aromas of black fruit, cinnamon and spice are complimented with concentrated flavors of ripe strawberry, cherry, raspberry and truffles. This Pinot Noir offers finesse and elegance accented with pronounced structure, earthy and tannic, in a traditional style. A silky texture of sweet oak, vanilla and chocolate are expressive of a well balanced wine with a long and lingering finish.

This is a classic Russian River Valley Pinot Noir, with concentrated fruit flavors of deep black cherry complemented by subtle oak to add richness and depth on the finish. The secondary notes hint at the subtle spice, mushroom, forest floor or earthy notes. This wine would pair well with lamb, Pacific Northwest Salmon and mushroom risotto.
