Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.

One of the great weaknesses of Snooth is the disaggregation of certain wines. For example, there is no point in having a separate listing/entry for each year of this Luzon. They are all alike and that is the intention of the producer.

Coming from a tiny winery in the southeastern part of Spain, this full-throttled red is mostly MourvŠdre with a tiny bit of Syrah. Spicy black plum, red currants and licorice fill the palate, and it finishes with a warm vanilla toastiness. A great introduction to Spanish reds.

Winemaker's Notes:

Graphite, licorice and espresso flavors are expressive, if a bit austere, in this lean, firm red. Notes of black cherry and mineral are fresh and focused. Monastrell, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo and Merlot. Drink now through 2012.
