Very soft and mild. A real golden character - nutty with some soft flor. (Tasted as part of a marathon at the Wines from Spain trade event.)
Tawny-copper in color with aromas of orange peel, almond and raisons. Pecan and toffee flavors finishing dry with cocoa on the finish but a bit dried out and overly oxidized even for a Sherry. Seems like it’s best days are behind it but still interesting. Bottled May 17, 2007.

Fresh, floral, lemony aromas abound in a highly fragrant Fino. With zesty citrus and yeast flavors, this light and dry reserve bottling from the renowned Lustau house offers a refreshingly clean finish.
This sherry is a perfect marriage between the finesse and delicacy of Amontillado with the nutty richness of Oloroso. Dry, with nuances of vanilla, coffee and dark chocolate. Best served slightly chilled with nuts, olives and cheeses, gamey charcuterie or even Asian food.
This sherry with a bright copper color has a nose and flavors of toasted almonds, salt, dates and wood. It is beautifully balanced with a tangy acidity. Traditionally served before a meal with assorted salty appetizers and cheeses, it would also be wonderful dropped in a thick soup for added flavor.
From the prestigious Lustau house comes a light, dry and refreshing Manzanilla, full of yeasty, lemony, nutty aromas and that characteristic whiff of the Atlantic. Serve chilled, it's a great apéritif and perfect with shellfish.
Dark gold in color with aromas of dried fruits. On the palate, this is dry, rich and concentrated with flavors of smoke, earth and almonds. Would match beautifully with rich game dishes.
Palo Cortado, the rarest and most unique sherry style, combines dark, grand Oloroso character with the soft palate feel of fine Amontillado. This stellar bottling from Lustau has a rich and spicy nose with intense, exotic flavors and terrific length.
Almacenista means stockholder in Spanish. In Jerez, the Almacenistas store and mature limited quantities of sherry on behalf of shippers and exporters. These are very rare. This Light Fino is dry and crisp, delicious as an aperitif.
