Luneau-Papin Muscadet Pierre Grange 2010
Not yet reviewed; 2009 vintage rated 91 points by Wine & Spirits: Ripe and bold in aroma, this balances its flavors of mandarin orange and grapefruit pith with stony minerality, showing a fine tension and subtle complexity. It should be even more harmonious and expressive with a few years in the cellar.
The total area of the domaine is 11 hectares, distributed in different parcels located in the districts of Monthelie, Pommard, Puligny-Montrachet, and, of course Meursault. All the vineyards were cultivated following organic agricultural practices from 1992 to 1997, at the end of this period the domaine became 100% biodynamic.
