Low-tones aromas of peach, spice and grilled nuts. Rich, smooth, concentrated and fat; given shape by fresh acids. A rather powerful style of Pinot Gris, uncompromisingly dry on the aftertaste.
Pale, bright straw-yellow. Aromatic nose combines orange blossom, fresh hay, honey and a whiff of flowers; a suggestion of alcohol quickly dissipated. The dry, intense palate offers flavors similar to the aromas, turning firmer and more precise with air. Good classic pinot grigio.

Remarkably complex and compelling. Ripe and rich, loaded with tiers of fig, roasted almond, spice, vanilla bean, cream and tangy lemon overtones. Excellent viscosity, with tart, lingering quince nuances. Drink now.
Leesy aromas of lemon, honey and hay, with hints of dried fruits. Supple, very ripe and layered, with a flavor of lemon drop. Distinctly fat for Pinot Gris but has complexity and sound supporting acidity. This was fermented in barrel, with little use of SO2.
There is not a better Pinot Grigio being produced ion the New World than Lunarsquo;s. The finest they have made to date, the stunning 2001 Pinot Grigio offers aromas and flavors of orange marmalade intermixed with honeysuckle. This fresh, medium to full-bodied effort is an example of a hedonistic dry white at it finest.
I do not know of a better Pinot Grigio produced in the New World than Lunarsquo;s 1998. Cropped at 3 tons per acre, as opposed to the normal 6ndash;10, this wine tips the scales at a powerful 14.1% alcohol. What makes it terrific is the fact that it was fermented with indigenous yeast, thus giving it more aromatic dimension as well as a creamier mid-palate and finish. This 1998 also possesses a sumptuous nose of orange rinds, lemon butter, honey and nuts. Full-bodied, with a chewy texture and gorgeous fruit, this wine, aged on its lees for 8 months and bottled unfiltered, is a juicy, pleasure-filled Pinot Grigio.
Think of an inexpensive Italian Pinot Grigio with a West Coast flair. There is some nice minerality and pronounced aromas of some exotic fruits like guava as well as orange and grapefruit skins. Very fair price and very easy to sip.
