Luna di Luna Cabernet/Merlot 2013

Winemaker's Notes:

The unique idea of combining Merlot and Cabernet gave birth to an exceptional red wine blend. The hilly Italian regions of Veneto and Friuli possess great enological tradition, and are well known for producing red wines of garnet color, velvety to the tongue, with complexity; all in perfect harmony. The complexity and girth of this wine demands that it be paired with red meat, game, roasted pork, beef stew and variety of cheeses, but very specifically the exquisite "caprino" (goat cheese) with chestnut honey. However, this wine can be matched with a great variety of gastronomic dishes.

Luna Di Luna:
Luna di Luna is a brand of everyday Italian table wines. The wines are produced in different regions, reflecting diverse grapes and terroirs. The signature wines are a blend of two grapes, such as Chardonnay/Pinot Grigio, Merlot/Cabernet, Sangiovese/Merlot, etc., hence the “two moons” of the brand.
