- Absolutely lovely montepulciano -- highly recommended for this time of year when it's so cold. It's fruity but warming, easy to drink, and quaffable with Italian favourites like tomatoe based pastas and pizzas; cured meats, etc. Thoroughly warming with blackberry resonances and ripe wild strawberry -- tied down and made serious with hints of cigar tobacco and hashish resin!
