Winemaker's Notes:

GALA 3 Viognier. Chardonnay. Riesling. Vintage 2006. Selection from the finest section of our estate vineyards: “La Linda” vineyard, Vistalba. “La España” vineyard, Carrodilla “Los Nobles” vineyard, Las Compuertas. Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza. TASTING NOTES Superb white blend elaborated with Viognier, Chardonnay and Riesling grapes. Shinning gold in color, this wine surprises with its exquisite flowery aromas. It is a very complex wine with well-balanced acidity and a special weight. Its complex nose displays hints of white peach, apricot and citrus, and delicate oak and vanilla aromas. Climate Long autumns, cold winters and mild summers with little rainfall, optimal conditions for ripeness and large body. Average temperature in summer: 23 ºC (73.4 ºF). Minimum temperature in winter: -4 ºC (24.8 ºF). Annual rainfall: 220 mm (8.66 mm). Soil Sandy-limestone, loamy permeable soil of alluvial origin supported by gravel and pebble. 1% E-W inclination. Oak Ageing Only the Chardonnay spends 8 months in new French oak barrels. Yield of Vineyard 60 qq/ha 42 hl/ha (3.11 tn/ac). Grape Variety Viognier 50%, Chardonnay 40% and Riesling 10%. Ageing Potential 8 years. Filtering Smooth. Service Temperature 12 ºC – 14 °C (53.6 ºF – 57.2 ºF). Basic Analisis Alcohol 14° pH 3.58 Total Acidity 5.58 g/l Residual Sugar 1,72 g/l Pairing White Meats – Fish – King Crab – Stuffed Pasta.
